This lettuce has a deep red and shiny surface that gives it an elegant touch. It has an intense flavour thanks to its slightly bitter nutty undertones.

Combine tahini, mustard, garlic and salt in a bowl. Add water and mix slowly until ingredients are completely combined. Wash and dry black rose lettuce; rip it into 1½-inch by 2½-inch pieces. Place lettuce into a serving bowl and toss lightly with dressing.
